Anderson’s Restaurant in Farnham is closing so this is the very last chance for us to hold our annual Pub Quiz there on Wednesday 15th February.
Please let Diana know as soon as possible if you can go– and let’s make this a really good turnout for this last one. Diana will send out menu choices when she has them.
Club 15 are visiting The Mill at Sonning on Saturday 13th May, to see a matinee performance of “Don’t Dress For Dinner”, written by Marc Camoletti.
The price per ticket is £46, this includes a pre-show meal, coffee, show, car park and one programme between two. I have copied their write up as below:
Don’t Dress For Dinner, With his wife out of town, an alibi from his best friend Robert, and Suzette, a Cordon Bleu cook, lined up to prepare gourmet delights, debonair Bernard thinks he’s planned the perfect romantic weekend for his glamorous French mistress, Suzanne. But when Bernard’s wife, Jacqueline, hears that Robert – ooh, la, la – is visiting for the weekend, she decides to stick around for a surprise tryst of her own. Setting the stage for a side-splitting collision course of mistaken identities. Suzanne becomes the cook, Suzette becomes the lover, the friend is bewildered, the wife is suspicious and an evening of hilarious confusion ensues as Bernard and Robert improvise at breakneck speed.
As we are a group and The Mill appears to be very popular, booking as early as possible would be good. Please could you let me know if you are interested by 20 February. If you are interested please could I have a pre-dated cheque (for say 20 March), for the full price of the ticket as I have to pay in full at the time of booking. Please also note that it was agreed to change the date from the 15th to Saturday 13th for that month.
