Minister’s Letter – September 2016

Dear Friends,

It is with humility and great joy that I write to introduce myself to you as your minister and friend for this Methodist year. I thought I would share a little bit of my journey so far with you.

I have been a minister since 1989 and have served in Retford, London (Forest), Ely, Belper, Amersham, Sunderland, and Sutton Circuits before coming to this circuit. Since I am only here for a year, I am anticipating that we will be able to get to know each other quickly. I believe that together we can open ourselves to the leading of the Holy Spirit so that we may know God’s will and follow with generous hearts.

I am married with two children (30 and 20). I particularly enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, laughing and telling people about my faith in Christ.

I look forward to meeting you all and learning the wonders of your life and faith stories. In the days ahead, I welcome hearing your wisdom, insights, and concerns.

God bless you and yours.
