Fourways Carol Service 11-12-24
Seven of us were warmly greeted at Fourways Residential Home on Wednesday 11th December as we arrived to bring some festive cheer to the residents. Our service this year was based around the Children’s Christmas booklet from the Bible Society which gave the Nativity in story form, together with encouragements and individual reflections at each stage. We sung to popular carols and it was lovely to see so many of the residents singing along with us.
After the service we were all served refreshments and it was a delight to go and sit with familiar faces in the Home and to speak and laugh along with them. It was a real joy to share the Carol Service with them. To help staff and residents celebrate, we took along two tubs of Celebrations which were gratefully received!
