Harvest 2021
As the person doing both the flower arrangement and Harvest decorations my contribution to the Harvest Sunday started a bit earlier than most.
l choose roses in suitable colours for the main floral centre piece, as a loving tribute to John Mason , who we all miss. Then l brought in my own home grown apples , pears and runner beans to be the main focus for the Harvest layout. After that l added other vegetables, fruit and food goods to complete the decorations.
We had decided to give all our gifts to the local Food Bank. These were gratefully received when l delivered a car load of goods to them on the following day.
Reverend Sharon Gardner led our tribute that day with a good mix of traditional and modern hymns. It was, as always, a good and uplifting service.
