5@5 – Praying together for Sandhurst 9th April 2026
If possible, please pray for 5 minutes at this time.
Our focus this month is on the Emergency Services. Let’s pray for all involved; managers, first responders, support staff…
We uphold those we rely on in times of trouble including
• Police
• Fire and Rescue
• Ambulance
May they know god’s word spoken by Isaiah (43v2):
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you
And when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Our prayers might include –
Almighty God,
Give strength to those who are there for us
In times of crisis, fear, and hurt.
Give courage to responders who look beyond risk
For the sake of those who need help and protection.
We give you thanks for the many ways they give of themselves. Protect them, O Lord. Comfort them when they are tired or heartbroken.
This we pray in the name of our Saviour, Jesus.
