Methodist Housing (MHA)
MHA (Methodist Housing) celebrated its 80th anniversary with a service at Wesley chapel, Harrogate in September. This prayer acknowledges how MHA, with the support of the Methodist Church, has enabled older people to live later life well.
Generous God, We thank you for the vision of Revd Walter Hall in founding MHA 80 years ago, for the commitment of the Methodist Conference to supporting this endeavour, for the work carried out across the decades since by countless staff and volunteers, and for the care that has been shown to so many people.
We give thanks for the partnership between MHA and the Methodist Church, and for the dedication of MHA church and circuit representatives.
Lord, continue to bless MHA, its staff, supporters and beneficiaries, and guide us all to grow in respect of and care for those in later life.
