The Leprosy Mission

This Christmas, hospitals in India urgently need your help.

The last year has left hospitals in India at breaking point. Many of the hospitals were designated Covid response centres but no extra funding has been received to provide those services.

Lockdown and Covid meant that private general patients couldn’t come in for treatment. The fees they pay usually subsidise the cost of the vital care needed by thousands of people affected by leprosy.

All of this has left Leprosy Mission hospitals in India with a huge financial deficit. The situation is now desperate. They urgently need to care for people affected by leprosy.
