Update from Erica

Just a few lines to let you know that I used my John Lewis Voucher, from the Church, to buy a weather station which sits on my mantelpiece. When I went up to Leeds in July to pick up Tim we went to the big John Lewis store. It has an accurate clock (which is handy as all my others always say different times!) and I am interested in seeing the temperature each day, inside and outside, as well as other details. Many thanks for this once again.

I have now been in Farnborough 16 months and feel settled. I am getting more and more involved in North Camp Methodist which is great and I’m gradually getting to know more people.

As you probably know, Tim is now in Linz, Austria with the IFES who aim to proclaim Christ across Europe’s Universities. He is settling in and has sent me pictures of the beautiful mountains/scenery he sees. Naomi and Ricky are now working with WEC (Worldwide Evangelism for Christ) teaching in a Missionary School in Senegal, Africa for one year. They are settling in but its a huge adjustment from life in UK. Philip and Katie are just back from California where they have had a special holiday celebrating 30th birthdays and 60th with Katie’s family. Philip will be back to Brunel Uni to do his final year of his Occupational Therapy degree and then job hunting.

I am still going to Isle of Wight every other weekend to see Mum, who is 93 and keeps going.

I’ve been back to SYMC a few times – its always good to see you all again. I praise God for his continual help and guidance when changes have come in my life.

Erica.
