5@5 Praying together for Sandhurst
Praying together for Sandhurst
5pm on Thursday 14th November 2024
If you can, please pause and pray for 5 minutes at this time.
Pray for our churches and all who serve our community in youth work, school chaplaincy, etc.
November is for many of us, a time of remembering. We remember loved ones and others who have ‘gone before’, and we are reminded of our own mortality as days shorten and weather becomes wintry.
Let us give thanks for God’s faithfulness and provision through all seasons
and pray for
those who are sorrowful at this time.
those who help and support others though dark days.
those who assist when a life ends.
We hear the words of Jesus.
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.” John 11: 25-26
Eternal God our Father,
Bless, we pray, those who mourn
and all who find these dark days difficult.
May they know the comfort of your presence
and be able to face each new day with hope.
May their memories become joyful,
their days enriched with friendship,
and their lives encircled by your love.
Amen.
