Christmas meal 2023 at the Bird in Hand
I know that during this heatwave it’s a little difficult to focus on Christmas – however we need to forward plan!! I have booked the Bird in Hand in Little Sandhurst again for Friday 15th December at 7pm.
This is a popular venue with superb food. There were about 15 of us last year and we all enjoyed the food and the superb company! Please see the web-site (link below) for their Christmas menu and let me know if you would like to come along.

Baked Wild mushroom and egg custard lined with herb pancakes and a mild curry sauce
Minestrone soup with crusty bread and butter
Crab, smoked salmon, crayfish and prawn cocktail with Marie rose sauce and brown bread and butter
Chicken Liver Pâté with Onion Marmalade and toasted brioche
Mains
Traditional Roast Turkey with all the Festive Trimmings
Monkfish, salmon, prawn and chorizo stew with spinach, peppers and butter beans
Slow braised brisket of beef in a rich red wine, port and mushroom sauce with a creamy root vegetable mash
Roasted vegetable and pepper tart with crispy onion and bread crumb topping
