Day of Prayer and Fasting

The 2017 Methodist Conference, meeting in Birmingham, recognised the challenges and changes facing every community in these islands and the urgent call of God on the Methodist people to share the love of God in Jesus Christ in word and action.

The Conference therefore called on every local church to launch the new Methodist year with a day of prayer and fasting.

We will be having our day of prayer and fasting on Saturday 27th January.

This is a 12 hour period, split into half-hour chunks, when we will be taking it in turn to pray and fast for a half-hour. Please sign up to the rota (list on the hatch during refreshments after the service 21st). You can pray in your own home, no need to come over to the church.
