Frankie’s birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO FRANKIE!!!
It was Frankie’s special birthday on Friday 13th July, but it was not an unlucky day for her at all! Her daughter and son-in-law took her to Wisley Horticultural Gardens for the day and they had a great time walking around seeing the beautiful flowers in all their glorious summer blooms and then enjoyed a picnic in the picturesque surroundings.
The next day the celebrations continued as a birthday bash was arranged by her family and held at her son’s house. There were three generations of Hirons and it was such a pleasure to meet her daughters, their children and then some of their children. The spread of food was magnificent and did Frankie proud. Frankie had some wonderful gifts for her very special birthday. There were posters all around that had been produced by her family together with photographs of Frankie at her marriage and throughout her life. The sunshine added to the uplifting day and a very pleasant time was had by all.
Then on Sunday, it was a pleasure to welcome Frankie’s two daughters and two granddaughters to the service, who then stayed and enjoyed Frankie’s birthday cakes – yes! That’s right – cakes! Frankie had two birthday cakes a pink one and a chocolate one – well it was her special birthday!
