Switching on the lights – Sandhurst – 24/11/18
Sandhurst Town Council have a ‘Turning on the Lights’ ceremony every year when the Council’s lights and the lights on the Christmas tree are turned on.
There is a short service which will be led by Pastor Pete from the Baptist Church and the Sandhurst Churches Together Choir will lead the singing of three traditional Christmas Carol (we actually need YOU to come and join the singing!)
You will meet Father Christmas and the Characters out of the John Nike Christmas Panto.
Father Christmas gives out sweeties to the children, Sandhurst Churches Together hand out Christmas booklets to the children and Sandhurst Town Council give a welcoming cup of mulled wine to the grown-ups, squash for the little l’uns and warm mince pies to all.
Put the date in your diaries now! Saturday 24th November at 6pm
