Whitechapel Mission 2019
It is that time of year when we ask for towels, clothes, sleeping bags, toiletries, underwear (new for men and women) socks and anything you can please donate. Last year Maggy and Colin Garton took three car loads up to the Whitechapel Mission.
This year, a speaker called Tony Miller from the Whitechapel Mission will be at Crowthorne Methodist on 27th October 2019 at 10.30 am, talking about the work of the Whitechapel Mission and we will make sure that any donations are delivered up to Crowthorne, for him to take back with him on 27th October.
It would be good to get him to come and speak to us at some stage as I am sure it would be really interesting to hear of the work they do.
If you have anything to donate, please give it to a Steward, we will hold onto the donations in the Vestry until we deliver them to Crowthorne for Tony to take away with him. You were all so generous last year, please see if there is anything you can donate this year.
