Brain Tumour Research

The Wooledge family attended the Brain Tumour Research re-launch of the Wall of Hope at the Centre of Excellence at Imperial College London.  The day included a tour of the laboratories which was very informative, with exciting news of possible developments for the diagnosing and treatment of brain tumours in the future.

We were proud to place some tiles on the Wall in recognition of the fund raising we have done since 2014 when David was diagnosed with a brian tumour.  We thank the church for their support for this charity.

Brain tumours are indiscriminate, they can affect anyone at any age.  What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer – yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Watch out for our next Wooledge fund raising event!
