Club 15 July 2019 report
For the July Club 15 event, Carol and Jim kindly hosted a games evening at their house, with five others from the church attending. Jim had prepared another of his fiendish quizzes, but there were also games such as skittles, shove halfpenny and bagatelle, the latter offering an extra degree of difficulty as its base had warped over the years. At half time we broke for some tasty refreshments before resuming the contest. No idea who won overall – it was fun taking part. Eventually it was time to go, though we probably left some time later!! Many thanks to Carol and Jim for getting in all the games and organising such a good evening.
