Harry Potter Walk
Thank you all for sponsoring me and the team on our sponsored walk around Virginia Water in December. Dressed as Harry Potter Characters, I am pleased to report we raised over £750 as a team.
There was snow coming down at Virginia Water and Heathrow was closed that morning owing to the snow. This did not stop us, there were not many people around when we started but more came out nearer lunch time. We got lots of favourable comments and requests to have photos taken with us.
Two of the team were travelling down from Wear (somewhere!) but had to turn back due to the snow. They did their part of the walk along the local river.
As you can see from the photo, we may have been cold, but we did enjoy the event.
