Dear members of the congregation,
Thank you so much for your generous donation of £100 to us recently. Every donation that we receive is used solely to support those with dementia and their supporters to try and relieve the pressures that attend their lives and provide some respite and fun for them as a weekly club. We are a wholly volunteer staffed organisation and rely on donations from groups to help us to do this, a job that we enjoy immensely. As well as our weekly sessions we provide extra events on other occasions, all free of charge. For instance we have just had a fish and chip lunch and are taking a group of 30 to the pantomime on Saturday. As you can appreciate these are quite expensive events and your money will go towards one of our events. Up and coming in the spring will be a trip to a garden centre with a tea included.
I attach one of our flyers for your information. If any of you know a person who may benefit from our services or would like to join our happy band of volunteers please do get in touch. We offer our services to people in the wider community of Yateley with or without a formal diagnosis and by just popping in at one of our Monday afternoon sessions to try out being a member.
